I had this old domain that I had not done anything with in many years. Host was complaining that PHP was out of date and the version of Wordpress I was running was even worse. So I nuked it all.
I am setting up a new ... "blog" with eleventy. Static site with random thoughts posted on a hopefully regular basis. Kind of feeling this could be somewhere between Mastodon/Twitter and a real blog. Sometimes just a stray thought, sometimes something deeper. My bigger technical posts will remain at BIT-101 though.
I'm going to post this right away in all its ugliness. Not even any CSS as it stands. The plan is for it to grow into a beautiful swan-like site. We'll see how that goes.
Things to do ASAP:
- Fix dates. Ye olde off-by-one crap.
- Reverse sort the post list on the main page.
- A small bit of styling. I like the minimalism, but needs a better font at least.
